FAQ

Pressing Questions You Want Answers On

Sometimes it’s good to be mysterious. Sometimes you just want to know a little more.

Is this a real gym?

While the workout equipment is real, we don’t have memberships or daily access. We invite participants to events where we explore different themes, concepts and ideas to help you have a great time!

Who is the PowerHaus MSN events for?

PowerHaus MSN absolutely welcomes all gay, bi, pan, and male-identifying individuals who want to have a good time. We do have a strict behavior policy and will ask you to leave if you disturb other guests trying to have fun.

How do I know if an event is coming up?

We generally post notices to our Instagram profile and will add more specific information about events on this website. We add more information on the days leading up to an event and then go a little dormant as planning takes a little bit out of us!

Where are you located?

We’re on the Eastside of Madison in a residential neighborhood. Therefore, we generally ask people interested in attending to send us a Direct Message (DM) on Instagram for our actual address.

We’ll screen to make sure that you’re legit and want to positively contribute to everyone’s enjoyment. If you don’t have a profile, please be prepared to share a little about yourself.

Do I need to be in perfect shape to attend?

Not at all. Confidence, attitude, and good energy matter more than six-packs. Our crowd celebrates all kinds of men and we welcome you.

What should I wear?

Our PowerHaus MSN events have a theme with a suggestion for an outfit or attire (think an era, activity or color). We encourage you to get creative and express yourself!

Many events will also offer clothes check so that when you get really hot you can cool down.

Is PowerHaus MSN just a play space?

We intend to host many kinds of events over time, however our initial events are generally evening experiences with our resident DJ Tim Walters and a dance floor, a self-service bar and the PowerHaus MSN gym space.

You are never required to participate in anything that you do not want to be a part of. Many people attend just come to dance and socialize and that is terrific!

Being free from the traditional confines of a commercial bar, we’re able to take it up a notch with once-in-a-lifetime events that will thrill all your senses.

What if I’m not comfortable?

We all get a little uncomfortable in new settings and we encourage you to take our events at your own pace.

The PowerHaus MSN gym and play zones are part of the fantasy, but all activity begins with clear, mutual consent. Respect boundaries. No means no, always.

If you’re subject to unacceptable behavior, notice that someone else is being subjected to unacceptable behavior, or have concerns that these policies of mutual respect are not being followed, please contact a host as soon as possible.

Is there a cover for PowerHaus MSN?

We do not charge a cover for our events. You may want to bring some cash for tips for bartenders, dancers or clothes check attendants but otherwise the events are free.
